Nothing should be added or removed from the word of God
« Don’t move the old marker that your fathers have set. (Proverbs 22:28). The ancient boundaries are the foundations, the doctrine that the prophets and apostles have laid down. These foundations present how to walk with God and be victorious (Ephesians 2:20). It is God’s specific will.
To walk in victory and remain there, every Christian must conform to God’s specific will.
It is then that he will be able to cross the valley of the shadow of death. Examples include victorious servants such as:
- Joseph: sold by his brothers and later imprisoned in Egypt, he remained faithful to the God of his fathers (The Lord). He refused to defile himself while living in a foreign country far from his own.
- Daniel and his companions: they have almost the same story as Joseph. They remained of integrity and rights while they were on a foreign land as well. (See Daniel’s book in the Bible).
- The apostles: having known god’s specific will, they abandoned the synagogue thus exposing himself to persecution, rejection and death. Despite these obstacles, they remained firm, without turning away from God’s specific will.
All this shows that we can still walk on the ancient bollards today and remain in victory because these men were of the same nature as us Elijah was a man of the same nature as us: he prayed with authority that he would not please , and did not fall on the earth for three years and six months (Jaque 5:17).
